We are recruiting for a temporary 6-month contract to take on a very special and exciting project at Bok. Please see role description below:
The Event and Design Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of a special series of launch events at the Bok Vocational School. The project will be designed and built by Scout’s in-house design team alongside local collaborators and makers, and, therefore, a background and interest in industrial design, architecture or carpentry would be ideal though not required. The Manager will be responsible for helping develop the event schedule, ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to and coordinating activities across a wide range of audiences (City officials, artists, makers, food & beverage operators). Day-to-day activities will include responding to enquires, arranging and ordering supplies, overseeing and developing marketing materials, submitting documentation required for permits, recruiting volunteers, liaising with suppliers, managing project budget and holding responsibility for project schedule.
